We’re a little late in posting this, but better late than never, right? Hope you’re all having very happy holidays and enjoying some time off. A huge thanks to all who came to our super fun holiday party, and if you missed it, here’s a video!
We always say this, but really, where has the time gone? Christmas is only a few days away and the year’s almost over, and we just can’t believe it! So we’re having a special holiday sale event this Tuesday to help you get that last minute holiday shopping in! We’re extending our hours and will be open from noon until 9pm and everything in the store will be at least 20% off! We’ll even break out some refreshments to add to the holiday cheer.

As we all know, along with that most magical time of the year comes a slew of magical (and some not-so-magical) holiday parties. Trust us when we say that this one falls under the first category.
In conjunction with Shift Your Shopping, on Tuesday, December 15th we’re throwing a holiday party from 4-10 and you’re invited! In fact, it’s practically two parties in one. Want to know who else is invited? The big man himself, Ol’ Saint Nick. First, from 4-7 we’ll have a Santa for the little ones and Two Mamas Photography will be there to take photos with Santa for $5. Then at 7, Santa will perform a magic trick and turn into adult Santa and grab a cocktail, courtesy of our friends LUPEC Boston.

There are always lots of reasons to come to Union Square, but this weekend there are literally like a million. Besides us, of course, and all the awesome new stuff we’re getting in, there are so many events going on we can barely keep them straight.
First, it’s that magical time of the year for the Taza Chocolate Open House on Saturday from 10-6. It’s no secret that we’re huge fans of Taza, and you really shouldn’t miss this rare chance to get a factory tour and see how they make their tasty chocolate. (Also, a purchase at the open house will get you a coupon for 20% off any purchase at Grand this weekend! It’s a win-win!)
Then you really shouldn’t miss the Union Square Winter Craft Market, in Union Square Plaza and Precinct from 11-4. It should be packed full of crafty goodness! And there are even more craft markets happening nearby at Washington Street Art Center and Somerville Museum.
